Baby Boyd

At my 19weeks ultrasound, we found out we were having a precious baby boy! We found out on my husbands birthday July 11th!!!! I was sooooooo excited to see his little peepee on the ultrasound screen! We were overjoyed! After our appointmet, we met all of the parents for lunch at pf changs to announce the news! We printed out all the ultrasound pics and handed them out in an envelope to each parent and told them to look at the pictures to find out! Little did they know that we left out the main picture of the "goods"!! After a little while of looking and talking we handed them one more envelope with the peepee picture in it! It was priceless to see their reactions and excitement, especially my mom who jumped and screamed in the middle of the restaurant!! My side of the family doesnt have any boys so you can imagine their excitement! The rest of the day consisted of phone calls until about 11pm, we were pooped!!

new to the blog world

Well it looks as if i've joined the blogging world...never done this before so it should be interesting! I thought this would be a great way for family and friends to stay in touch and see whats new with our family.

Jason and i were married on July 7, 2007 and honeymooned in Jamaica! It was such a beautiful wedding and the honeymoon was paradise. We found out we were pregnant on March 25, 2008 9months until Christmas! We knew we were going to try in march and we got it on the first try. I took my first pregnancy test ever, 5days before the period was supposed to arrive because i couldn't stand the anxiety/anticipation for another 5days. And there it was, PREGNANT, came up on the digital screen and i literally started screaming and crying. I normally do not react in such a way but this feeling took over and its was absolutely overwhelming. It was a miracle and i started to thank God right away. There are people who have tried for years to become pregnant and i feared that for some reason. So anyways, i couldnt wait for jason to get home. I took a picture of the ept and downloaded as our desktop picture on the computer. He came home and bypassed the computer picture (of course) and went straight into the bathroom where my test still laid!! I remember going in there and he was looking at it and then just grabbed me and held me! It was such an exciting and emotional time!
